Internship
Every year, AID receives many requests from interested candidates who want to work as interns with the organization and learn from its activities and approaches. AID’s internship programme offers internships to local and international students who are looking to gain exposure to the operations of various AID programmes. AID also has internship opportunities for professionals that may lead to employment within the organization or for them to get involved in various AID projects where they could bring in their expertise and valuable insights. The internship programme is only available with AID project area operations.

Type of internship

1. Research based internship
• Research design , data collection , coding /sorting , data analysis using SPSS , report writing , FGD , wealth ranking , social mapping , community meeting , community plan , consultation etc.

2. Practical field operation or official works (you would be attached with any of the following)
• Human resource departments
• Finance Department
• Documentation Department
• Program Department

Duration of internship
Normally the internship program is 3 months period but the time is expandable.
Application process
For the application for internship you have to follow the following:
• Cover letter (why you would like to be attached with AID as an intern)
• CV (must be updated one)
• 3 copies of passport size photo
• Letter from the head of the department or concern authority
• Disclaimer letter (no payment ; exception for field work)
• A detailed program plan /work plan of internship period or 2 page writing on specific theme of research (as applicable).
Benefits
Normally the intern will not get any pecuniary benefits from the organization. Exception, the management committee will take decision for payments.
Deadline
No specific timeline for the internship but you must have to apply before 30 days of launching your assignment.
